So goes an old family refrain. It comes out often during the winter, especially when someone remarks that “it’s a bit chilly.”<\/p>\n

There’s a particular cadence, too:<\/p>\n

Person 1:<\/strong> “Aye lads, it’s chilly.”
\nPerson 2 (not in the least bit somber):<\/strong> “Not as chilly as our boy Willie.”
\nEveryone (in a cheerful chorus):<\/strong> “You see, he’s dead!<\/em>“<\/p>\n
